Childrens Centre Manager

Develops and delivers the Children's Centre programme according to local and national objectives and standards to the optimum benefit of children and their families in the area and in response to the needs of the community.
Leads on the strategic development plan of the Centre, to achieve better outcomes for children and families, contributes to the strategic development of the school.

Senior Administrative Assistant

Term time only line manager to the other admin assistants. Provides financial support and oversees the budget.

Administrative Assistant

Based in reception, responding to telephone and 'face to face' enquiries. Providing word processing, typing and administrative support.

Early Years Lead Teacher

Working all year round, as a member of the senior management team, to lead and support practitioners both within the Centre and through other local schools and early year's settings to improve the quality of learning and teaching, through the development and delivery of a high quality curriculum and range of learning opportunities for all children aged 0-5 years.

Team Leaders

Assists and deputises in the absence of the Nursery Manager in the provision of integrated day care, education and family support for vulnerable children and others and their families. The Team Leader will also be responsible for any outreach groups in satellite buildings distantfrom the main building, co-ordinating nursery and family sessions and supervising the staff of those satellites where relevant.

Will create, develop and implement specific therapeutic groups for parents, carers and their children and assume day to day responsibilities under the general direction of the Manager/Head of Centre for key financial aspects including the direct delivery of fee paying, full day care places, in addition to the locally funded provision.

Early Years Practitioners

Is responsible for the care and supervision of young children receiving day care, support the development of learning skills by young children, will work within the relevant policies and legislation to support the: physical, emotional, educational, cultural and religious needs of young children and build effective partnership with parents/carers/service users.

Early Years Support Workers

Will work directly with children in both individual and group situations to help develop individual children's welfare and learning; helps and provides an inclusive service meeting the developmental needs of all children, contributes to the development of children's education by assisting in the planning and organisation of children's learning through play and appropriate learning experiences, helps to maintain adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene within designated areas of the nursery, and also to attend to children's personal needs, helps the promotion of good parenting skills and positive partnerships with parents, helps in the development of projects which are part of a programme of family support in the centre. Through work experience and in-house training and support, to achieve the NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education.
