Natal Groups
Every Tuesday the local Health Visitors and Midwives run their ante and post natal classes.
Ante natal classes take place from 9.30 - 12.30 and are run by the local by the visiting midwives. They are run on a six week rolling programme and include a reunion where everyone gets the chance to meet each others baby. You will be invited to attend ante natal classes by your health visitor if necessary.
Post-natal classes are run by the local Health Visitors and also follow a six week programme. They are held every Tuesday from 2.00-4.00pm and are often attended by visiting professionals such as dental hygienists and osteopatricians.
Babies are more than welcome to come along too. There is often time at the end of the sessions to speak with the other parents, attending these sessions is an ideal opportunity to learn the essentials for caring for your baby and to meet other mums.
