Family Worker
Are you, or do you know someone that:
- Feels the need to talk?
- Is having difficulties with money
- Feels depressed, isolated or lonely?
- Is finding the children difficult to manage?
- Wants to meet new people?
The Community Family Worker Project is a home visiting support
scheme for Families with children 0-5 who live in the St Annes Park
area.
We aim to reduce isolation, have better informed networks,
promote play opportunities for children, encourage families to take
on new opportunities and make positive changes for themselves.

WHAT THEY CAN OFFER
- Practical and emotional support to you and your family.
- To work together with you to enable you and your family get the
best quality of life for you and your family.
- Go along with you, introduce you and support you to new groups
and activities.
- Enable you make the most of training opportunities and local
activities.
- To link you to advice services on benefits and back to work
scheme initiatives.
- Ideas around play and development for you and your
children.
- To keep you and your family informed about what is going on
locally that may interest you.
- To work with you in a way which will let you make the decisions
for you and your children.
A COMMUNITY Family Worker can offer a link between an
idea, a problem or a service, which could lead to a
solution.
They are available to meet with you in your home, here at the
Centre or at another location that is convenient for you. Please
